Hello!! My name is Erin Rech and I will be your child's school counselor. I am very excited to be starting my 11th year at W.G. Rice Elementary School! Go Bubblers! I received my Bachelor's degree in psychology, minoring in early childhood education from Shippensburg University. I continued at Shippensburg University for my graduate work and received my Master's degree in education specializing in elementary school counseling. I have 19 years experience working as a school counselor. I also have my play therapy certificate and utilize many of those strategies when developing relationships with students. My professional interests include fostering resiliency, positive behavior support, as well as intrinsically motivating students in school and at home. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching and singing along to  musicals, hiking, going to yard sales, and cooking :-)
